Abstract

1. : DC60 (11/09/44) Bisphosphonates, particularly the more potent N-bisphosphonates such as zoledronic acid and its derivatives, can be used with satisfactory results for the long-term inhibition of bone degeneration in conditions with more severe bone remodeling, such as osteoporosis, by intermittent administration, with longer intervals between bisphosphonate administrations, as previously considered appropriate, e.g., intermittent administration of at least approximately 6 months or less frequent administration.
