Abstract

The medium voltage metal box switchboard (1) contains the switch room (2), the busbar room (4), and the terminal room (10). The busbar room (4) and the terminal room (10) are housed in the first housing (31), while the door mounting frame (7) of the switch room (2) and at least part of the switch room (2) are components of the second housing (32). A third housing (45) can be optionally placed between the first housing (31) and the second housing (32) so that the switchboard is arranged in a partitioned configuration in which a partition fitted with contact-separating bushings is placed between the switch room (2) and the next two rooms (4 10).

Claims (6)

1. A medium voltage metal box switchboard (1) containing the switch room (2) for the circuit breaker (3) and the busbar room (4) which are arranged in the rear section of the switchboard, and the terminal room (10) and the LV room (16) which are arranged above the switch room (2), and the front doors (7,8) for the switch room (2) and the LV room (16) which are characterized as follows: -The terminal room (10) and the busbar room (4) are housed in a primary housing (31) which is front-opening. -The front frame for securing the door (7) of the switch room (2) and at least part of the switch room (2) is a piece of the secondary housing (32) which is rear-opening. -The primary and secondary housings (31,32) have the same width and frame sections (34, 32) which are interconnected. 2. A medium voltage switchgear panel according to claim 1 is characterized as being possible to fit between the first and second housings (31 32) with the third housing (45), whose depth is dimensionally sized to approximately meet the space requirements for a partition separating the switch room (2) from the terminal room (10) and busbar room (4) and supporting the contact separation bushing (2). 3. A medium voltage switching panel according to claim 1 or 2 is characterized that on the rear of its secondary housing (32) there is a connecting frame (42) which can be connected to the first or third housing (31 45). 4. A medium voltage switching panel according to claim 1 or 2 is characterized that the primary housing (31) has a base plate (35) with a cut edge (37) at the edge of the protrusion (36) of the base plate (35) that extends beyond the front frame (34), and that the secondary housing (32) can be placed on the protrusion (36) of the base plate (35) and can be connected to the protrusion (36). 5. The medium voltage switchboard according to claim 4 is characterized as a third-order housing (45) having a base plate (46) with a beveled edge (47) and that a door (50) mounted on the base plate divides the base plate (46) into a rear section (51) and a front section (52). The front section (52) corresponds in length and shape to the other section (36) of the base plate (35) of the first-order housing (35). 6. One of the medium voltage switchboards under claims 1 through 5 is characterized by the front frame (38) of the secondary housing (32) having a slot (40) provided above the doorway for inserting the protective plate (15) (Clause 6, page 2, figure 4).
