Claims

1. The onboard equipment for aligning offshore pipelines to a near-vertical level consists of: a. a support base mounted on the vessel; b. a working frame mounted on the support base and extending upwards from there; c. a movable pivot-mounted alignment tower supported by the support base and working frame; d. a movable pivot-mounted support tower supported by the support base and extending downwards from there; and e. the support pathways within the tower for supporting and stabilizing the weight of the pipeline, consisting of: i) movable blocks (travelbacks) adjusted to move along the length of the support tower; and ii) base platforms at the lower ends of the support tower adjusted to support and stabilize the weight of the pipeline from the movable blocks.

2. The equipment of claim 1 also includes means for the transfer of joints and pipes from the ship to the said stacking tower.

3. The onboard equipment for aligning the offshore pipeline nearly vertically consists of: a. A support base mounted on the ship; b. A working frame mounted on the support base and extending upwards from there; c. A movable pipeline alignment tower mounted around a pivot point and supported by the support base and the working frame; d. A movable stringer support mounted around a pivot point and supported by the support base; e. A base plate mounted on the base plate and adjusted to support and bear the weight of the pipeline; f. A stringer mounted on the lower end of the stringer support and extending downwards from there; and g. A movable block received in the stringer to allow movement along the length of the stringer. This movable block is adjusted to support and bear the weight of the pipeline by coordinating with the base plate.

4. The device of claim clause 3 in which the said stinger is attached and rotates on its lower part to allow it to rotate around the center of the lower part upwards to a stored position when not in use.
