Underwear liners, designed for wear in the crotch area of lingerie, consist of a central absorbent material with two sides: one facing the body and one facing the clothing. This layer protects the underwear from body fluids while allowing them to evaporate. The liquid-resistant layer must have a minimum water-tightness of 3.0 centimeters and an air permeability of at least 0.6 decimeters per square centimeter per minute. The liner itself must also have an air permeability of at least 0.3 decimeters per square centimeter per minute.
