Abstract

DC60 (24/06/40) This invention concept involves an absorbent material, specifically a sanitary pad or panty liner, made by attaching it to the wearer's underwear. The material is typically attached to the wearer's underwear. While the wearer has the underwear expanded between their legs, in the expanded position, the underwear surface expands. As the underwear is pulled up into the fitted position, it contracts, and thus the attached absorbent material also contracts. According to this invention concept, the absorbent material is designed to easily contract, at least in the direction of the underwear's contraction, to minimize lateral shrinkage or folding. Claims (10)

1. The absorbent material for connecting the wearer's underwear consists of longitudinal and transverse axes and comprises: - A top layer with fluid passages; - A back layer with an outer surface facing the underwear during use; - An absorbent core sandwiched between the top and back layers; - A panty closure medium arranged on the other surfaces of the back layer. The material is characterized in such a way that: - It contracts in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis or parallel to the transverse axis or the combined components mentioned above. 2. The absorbent material under claim 1 herein contracts only in a direction clearly parallel to its longitudinal axis. 3. Absorbent materials according to any prior entitlements, in this case, such materials include panty liners or sanitary pads, and such materials with a maximum thickness of less than 5 mm, preferably less than 2 mm. 4. Any absorbent material as referred to herein in relation to any prior entitlement shall still consist of a removable protective liner, a media firmly bonded to the pantry before use of such material, and herein the top layer, back layer, and absorbent core shall be crimped or pleated using a crimping machine or pleating machine parallel to the corresponding longitudinal axis. 5. The absorbent material under claim 4 herein, the releaseable liner, is of a non-expandable and non-contractable type, intended to maintain the creases or pleats during manufacturing, packaging, and transport of the material until its use. 6. Any absorbent material as referred to herein, at least one portion of such top layer, such back layer or absorbent core is elastic expansion, and such top layer is non-elastic expansion, back layer or absorbent core is in a ruffled or pleated form with ruffles or pleats clearly parallel to the transverse axis. 7. The absorbent material according to claim 6 herein is of the expandable, elastic type, where each section of the top layer, the core, and the back layer are expandable and integrated in an elastic manner, and all parts of the material are pleated or folded, with the pleats or folds clearly parallel to the longitudinal axis. 8. The absorbent material under claim 7 herein still consists of a removable liner used to protect the media firmly attached to the panty before use. Herein, the removable liner is non-expandable and non-contractable to maintain the creases or pleats of the material during manufacturing, packaging, wrapping, and transport until use. 9. Absorbent materials as referred to in any prior claims herein, the binding medium to the panty, are pressure-sensitive binders. 10. The absorbent material under claim 9 herein is entirely creased or pleated by a pressure-sensitive adhesive applied to the outward-facing area of the creased or pleated outer surface of the back layer (Clause 10, 2 pages, 0 images).
