OCR 10KL (08/10/2567) กรรมวิธีการเตรียมน้ำมันหอมระเหยจากใบดาหลา ทำได้โดยการนำใบดาหลามาล้างทำความ สะอาด ใบดาหลาสดที่ล้างแล้วจะถูกนำมาหั่นให้เป็นชิ้นเล็กลง และนำไปสกัดน้ำมันหอมระเหยโดยการกลั่น ด้วยน้ำร้อน ด้วยเครื่องชุดกลั่นน้ำมันหอมระเหยเบากว่าน้ำ จะได้น้ำมันหอมระเหยจากใบดาหลาที่มี ลักษณะเป็นของเหลวสีเหลืองใสและมีกลิ่นหอมที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ ยิ่งไปกว่านั้นในน้ำมันหอมระเหยยังมี สารประกอบที่มีรายงานฤทธิ์ต้านเชื้อแบคทีเรีย ฤทธิ์ต้านการอักเสบ และฤทธิ์ต้านอนมูลอิสระ และพบว่า การเก็บรักษาน้ำมันหอมระเหยที่อุณหภูมิห้องเป็นเวลา 28 วัน ทำให้สารองค์ประกอบหลักคงเหลือมากกว่า ร้อยละ 70 น้ำมันหอมระเหยจากใบดาหลานี้สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมน้ำหอม เครื่องสำอาง หรืออุตสาหกรรมอาหารได้
