Software is built using data retrieved from the WLL and from digital maps of the geographic mapping system. Cell coverage and radio signal strength of the radio network are shown linearly on the map. Subscriber information, including subscriber locations, is entered into the subscriber control system, which assigns available cells to subscribers based on their location and determines whether additional available cells are needed. Subscriber information can be transmitted to various databases, such as SLR storage units, billing systems, etc. When modifications are made, such as adding new cells to the network planning system, the new network layout is sent to the subscriber control system, which then checks if further modifications are necessary. A system for controlling information about subscribers in a particular telephone system, which will include at least a network planning system, a network management system, and multiple base stations, where part of the connection to a subscriber consists of a radio connection between the terminal device and the base station. Such a system includes: Software 1 for creating geographic maps and preparing primary data input, which will enter the geographic location information of the telephone cell area and cell identification information into the subscriber information control system; and Software 2 for displaying the telephone cell area on a geographic map on the screen. 2.
