Abstract

Footwear, especially athletic shoes (1), consists of an upper (2) which is coupled with a truly flat foot support lower or sole unit (4). This latter unit consists of at least one composite material section which has a section (7) positioned to the metatarsal region (7A) of the wearer's foot and a section (6) positioned to the arch region (6A) of the wearer's foot. The (7) section of this section is present in an amount that is metatarsal inflexible and allows the sole unit (4) to flex during wear of the shoe. The (6) section of this section is present in the arch region of the wearer's foot.

Claims (29)

Footwear, especially athletic shoes (1), which consists of a leather forefoot (A) coupled with a truly flat bottom or sole unit (4) that supports the foot, the sole unit (4) which consists of at least one sole piece (5, 55) constructed of such sole piece (5, 55) which consists of a first rigid part (5F, 6) positioned in line with the arch region (64) of the sole unit (4) and a second flexible part (5E, 7) positioned between the forefoot (8) of the shoe and the arch region (6A), such second part (5E, 7) which is able to bend approximately on at least one axis (W) positioned between such forefoot (8) and the arch region (6A) of the shoe of the special nature that the composite material is assembled With the fibers woven together, the strong first part fibers (5F, 6) are cut across, and the flexible second part fibers (5E, 7) are oriented in the same direction. 2. The footwear described in Requisition 1 is of the special characteristic that the second flexible part (5E, 7) of the sole unit (4) shall consist of at least one layer of woven composite material, the transverse and longitudinal fibers of that part shall be laid with gaps left at exactly the same angle toward the longitudinal axis of the footwear (X) or facing in the same direction. 7. The shoe as described in Requisition 6 is characterized by the fact that the second flexible part (5E, 7) of the sole unit (4) shall consist of a number of layers stacked on top of woven composite material, transverse and longitudinal fibers of all layers laid with gaps left at exactly the same angle to the longitudinal axis (X) of the shoe. 8. The footwear as described in Requisition 1 is of the special characteristic that the sole unit (4) shall consist of a third (5) of woven composite material that supports the first and second (6, 7) and is arranged at least in accordance with the metatarsal region (7A) and with the arch of the sole (6A) of the subsequent sole unit (5), which has transverse and longitudinal fibers lying with gaps in exactly the same manner as the corresponding fibers of the second (7), thus such fibers lying with gaps in a different manner than the corresponding fibers of the first, in which they cross. 9. The footwear as specified in claim 8 is of the special characteristic that the third (5) of the sole unit overlaps every (64, 7A, 10) of the sole unit (4). 10. The shoes as specified in claim 8 are of the special characteristic that the third (5) part overlaps only the heel area (10) of the sole unit (4). 11. The footwear described in Requisition 1, which is of a special nature, conforms to the heel area (10) of the sole unit (4) and is provided with a flexible ring (40) of woven composite material extending from the rigid part (5F) which is positioned to conform to the arch of the foot (6A). 12. The shoes as described in claim 11 are of the special nature that a ring-shaped section (40) is bounded around a cavity (42) in which a flexible insert (41) is arranged to return a portion of the energy transferred by the user to the ground during the movement back to the user. 13. The footwear as described in claim 1 is of the special characteristic that the second part (5E) shall consist of a seat (424) for a further flexible insert (414) which is arranged to return a portion of the energy transferred by the user to the ground during the motion back to the user. 14. The shoes as described in claim 8 are of the special characteristic that the third (5) shall consist of a section (13) which has a cavity facing downward, positioned in alignment with the wearer's heel. 15. The footwear described in Requisition 1 is of the special characteristic that at least part of the first part and/or of the second part (6, 7) is covered with a layer of rubber (11, 12, 50). 16. The footwear as described in claim 15 is of the special characteristic that at least parts of the first and second sections (5F, 6; 5E, 7) have a rough surface that allows for better adhesion of the adhesive components for secure bonding of such sections to the rubber layer (11, 12, 50). 17. The footwear described in Requisition 1 is characterized by a rubber section (12) positioned in relation to the heel area (10) of the sole unit, which is composed of a seat (18) that supports another section (17) extending from the first rigid section (6) of the composite material woven with unidirectional fibers. 18. A shoe as described in Requisition 1 is of the special characteristic that a rubber section (12) positioned in relation to the heel area (10) of the sole unit shall contain a seat (43) in which an insert (41) is inserted to return energy to the user's body, which is transferred by him to the ground during movement. 19. The shoe, as described in Requisition 1, is of the special characteristic that a second flexible part (7) supports the segment or two-ended bolts glued to the said part. 20. Footwear as specified in Reservations 1 and 2, which is characterized by the composite material being treated. 21. The footwear described in Reservation 16 is of the special nature that the composite material defined by the first rigid boundary (6) is thicker than that defined by the second flexible boundary (7). 22. The method for making shoes as described in claim 1 is made special by the following steps: covering the wooden shoe mold with the shoe upper leather (2), which is connected to this back with a known porous material layer, such layer being positioned in line with the bottom of the wooden shoe mold with a subsequent layer of the sole (5, 55) of the woven composite material which is shaped like the sole with such layer of the sole which is subsequently a paired rubber layer (50). 23. The method described in claim 22, which is characterized by the fact that the woven composite sole pieces (5, 55) are obtained by laying the resin-saturated material on a footprint mold which has a negative pattern of the sole to form the shape of such sole pieces. 24. The method described in claim 23, which is characterized by the coarse-surfaced fabric layer being coupled with at least one underlayment face, 25. The method described in claim 23, which involves the woven, shaped composite material being placed under vacuum and subjected to pressure treatment, is as follows: 26. The method specified in claim 25 is characterized by the fact that after pressure treatment the base piece (5, 55) is subjected to drying. 27. The method described in claim 26 is characterized by the drying occurring in a pressurized environment for more than five hours but less than 1 hour. 28. The method specified in claims 24 and 26, which is of the special nature, after drying, the fabric which is accompanied by at least one face of the base piece (5, 55) is released. 29. The method specified in claim 22 is characterized by the sole unit being securely attached to the various parts of the shoe, namely to the upper leather (2), to the insole (3) and to the rubber layer (50) by double-sided adhesive.
