1. วิธีการเกี่ยวกับเครื่องสำอางสำหรับลดหรือป้องกันกลิ่นตัว โดยใช้เฉพาะกับผิวหนังของคน สารทำปฏิกิริยามีความ สามารถของซับ-ลีธัลลี่ ในการลดเชื้อแบคทีเรีย (แบคทีเรียล) ผลิตผลของสเตอรอยด์ที่มีกลิ่นหรือให้กลิ่น, คุณลักษณะเฉพาะ ในสารนั้น ก็คือ เป็นสารยับยั้ง แบคทีเรีย 4-ene รีดักเตส และ/หรือ 5 (สูตร)-รีดักเตส
2. วิธีการเกี่ยวกับเครื่องสำอางตามข้อถือสิทธิ 1 ในที่ นี้สเตอรอยด์ที่มีกลิ่นหรือให้กลิ่น คือ 16-อันโดรสตีน
