DC60 (24/03/41) This invention relates to a soft capsule preparation containing a cyclosporin, which consists of a mixture with cyclosporin as the active component, hydrophilic polyethylene glycol, or non-hydrophilic propylene carbonate, or a mixture of these, one or more mixtures of two or more selected from a group of compounds esterified by primary fatty acids and alcohols, medium-chain triglycerides and monoglycerides, oils, and surfactants with an HLB (hydrophilic-lipophilic equilibrium) of 8 to 17. Or a mixture of those substances, one or a mixture of two or more selected from a group consisting of esterified compounds of fatty acids and primary alcohols, medium-chain straight-chain triglycerides and monoglycerides as oil components, and surfactants with an HLB (hydrophilic-lipophilic equilibrium) value of 8 to 17.

Claims (10)

1. A cyclosporin preparation consisting of a mixture of (1) cyclosporin as the active component, (2) polyethylene glycol or propylene carbonate or a mixture of them, (3) one or a mixture of two or more selected types from a group of compounds containing esterified fatty acids and primary alcohols, fatty acids, medium-chain triglycerides and fatty acid monoglycerides as oil components, and (4) a surfactant with an HLB (hydrophilic-lipophilic equilibrium) of 8–17. 2. The cyclosporin mixture of claim 1, whereby the medium-chain linear triglyceride is caprolic/capric acid triglyceride. 3. A cyclosporine mixture of claim 1 or 2, where the fatty acid monoglyceride is an oleic acid monoglyceride. 4. Preparations containing cyclosporine of any prior claim where such surfactant is a polyoxyethylene product of hydrogenated vegetable oil or polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester. 5. A cyclosporine preparation of Patent 4 where the surfactant is a mixed surfactant consisting of polyoxyethylene (50), hydrogenated oil and castor oil : polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan monolaurate in a mixing ratio of 1:0.1-5. 6. The preparation is a soft capsule containing a cyclosporin of any prior patent, where such cyclosporin, such component (2), such oil component and such surfactant are present in a ratio of 1:0.1-10 : 1.10:1-10 by weight on a basis. 7. Preparations containing cyclosporin of claim 6, where the cyclosporin, such composition (3), such oil and such surfactant are present in the ratio 1:0.5-8:2-6:2-8 by weight as a basis. 8. A cyclosporin-containing preparation consisting of a mixture with 1) cyclosporin as the active ingredient and 2) propylene carbonate. 9. The mixture under claim 8 shall contain one or more components as specified in any of claims 1-7. 10. A preparation containing cyclosporine of claim 8, whereby such mixture is free of polyethylene glycol (Clause 10, page 2, Figure).
