The disposable absorbent material and garment for securing the disposable absorbent material is characterized by the garment's ability to hold the absorbent material in close contact with the body. The system consists of a disposable absorbent material with a permeable side, an impermeable side opposite the permeable side, and an absorbent component situated between the permeable and impermeable sides. The permeable and impermeable sides are arranged to form a single structure, and the disposable absorbent material maintains contact with and covers at least one portion of the wearer's labia minora and at least one portion of the wearer's external labia minora. A garment is then worn around the waist to secure the disposable absorbent material in close contact with the body. This garment has waist openings, a pair of leg openings, and a longitudinal centerline. The garment contains creases that secure the disposable absorbent material in close contact with the wearer's external genitalia. Such disposable absorbent material can cover the aforementioned crease area of the clothing.

A system of disposable absorbent material and a garment to secure the disposable absorbent material in close contact with the body. This system consists of a disposable absorbent material with a permeable side, an impermeable side opposite the permeable side, and an absorbent component between the permeable and impermeable sides. The permeable and impermeable sides are arranged to form a single structure, and the disposable absorbent material is sized and constructed to cover the external genitalia of the female wearer, groin, and is directly adjacent to that area, and does not extend forward beyond the pubic mound or backward toward the anus; and a garment to be worn around the waist to secure the disposable absorbent material in close contact with the body. This garment has waist openings, a pair of leg openings, and a central longitudinal section containing a crotch area to secure the disposable absorbent material in close contact with the wearer's external genitalia. A portion of the absorbent material is placed over the longitudinal axis of the support garment, and another portion of the absorbent material is placed over the crotch area of the support garment which is outside the longitudinal axis of the support garment, and the crotch area of the support garment in contact with the body along the longitudinal axis, which is sufficient to lift the said absorbent material placed over the crotch area higher than at least some of the absorbent material placed over those crotch areas which are outside the longitudinal axis.
