In the toy boat, the boat is composed of separable pieces that include the hull and the deck. The hull consists of the deck floor, opposite sides of the hull, bow, and stern. The sides of the hull rise from the deck and extend lengthwise between the bow and stern, curving outwards in between to form the hull chambers. The hull has a top ridge that is enclosed by the sides of the hull. Each side of the bow and stern incorporates locking plates that extend above the top ridge of the hull. The deck consists of a removable railing that fits over the top ridge of the hull. This railing has a pair of long transverse grooves that are made vertically through for the insertion of the locking plates. Each locking plate incorporates lateral-pointing lugs that lock securely to the railing. By inserting the locking plates along the corresponding long transverse grooves, there is a central expansion channel in the deck and a number of body units. This central expansion channel includes a group of adjacent rooms that are transverse openings to receive the body units. Each room is long enough to accommodate a pair of body units in that direction and is as wide as the width of one body unit.

The gunwales rise from the deck and run lengthwise between the bows, which curve outwards to form the hull chamber. The hull has a top ridge confined by the gunwales. Each bow incorporates locking plates extending above the top ridge of the hull, integrated seamlessly with the bow. The deck incorporates a guide rail that fits over the top ridge of the hull. This rail has a pair of long transverse grooves made through vertically for the insertion of the locking plates. Each locking plate incorporates lateral lugs that fit into the rail by being inserted through the corresponding long transverse grooves to prevent the locking plate from returning. The locking plates are flexibly adjustable to align the lugs with the long transverse grooves for the removal of the locking plate.
