A recirculating gas stream is cooled to induce liquid condensation (e.g., co-monomers), partial liquid separation, and pressurized liquid injection directly into the fluid bed through a nozzle. The liquid is pressurized and fed into a nozzle equipped with atomizing devices. The spraying occurs within the spray formation zone of the nozzle outlet. This zone is separated from the fluid bed particles by one or more walls, which can be tubes or plates. Therefore, the nozzle has two or more outlets, each independently filled and controlled to adjust the liquid flow into the fluid bed (increasing or decreasing the flow rate). This is a continuous gas-fluid bed process for polymerization. Olefins, specifically ethylene, propylene, or mixtures of both with other alpha-alpha olefins, are used by cooling the recirculating gas stream to induce liquid condensation (e.g., co-monomers), partial liquid separation, and pressurized liquid spraying directly into the fluid layer through a nozzle. This is achieved by pressurizing the liquid and supplying it to a spray nozzle equipped with a mechanical atomizing device. Under spraying conditions, a formation zone forms within the nozzle's outlet. This zone is separated from the fluid layer by one or more walls, which can be pipes or metal plates. Thus, the nozzle has two or more outlets, each independently filled and controlled to adjust the liquid flow rate into the fluid layer.
