Abstract

The invention for which this patent is sought is a cable connector for connecting input and output cables used in telecommunications. The body of the connector consists of a cover (1) and a lower part (2). For connecting the two ends of the wires (4), there is a solder-free, twist-free, and strip-free terminal (5) with a multi-band air gap. A flexible strip (7) with a notch (6) at the end is attached to one end of the terminal (5), and the contact arm (5 a) of the terminal, at a 45 degree angle to the wire axis, adjusts to the size of the wire. Claims (6)

Cable connectors for connecting the input and output cables used in telecommunications applications, of the following type: The body (3) of the connector consists of a cover (1) and a lower part (2). In the lower part (2) is attached a solderless, twist-free, and unstripping terminal (5) for connecting the terminal ends of the input and output cables (4). This terminal consists of a flexible strip (7) with serrations (6) at its ends and contact arms (5a) of this terminal, which are angled 45 degrees to the cable axis in the lower part (2) of the connector. The cable itself contains a conductor (8) or guide groove (8a) and clamping lines (9) for the input and output cables, and a cable cutter (10) for cutting the cable ends is also located in the lower part (2). The cover contains an opening (11) for inserting a probe for testing (12). 2.
