1. แบคทีเรียที่ผลิตกรดแอล-อะมิโนของตระกูล Enterobacteriaceae,โดยที่แบคทีเรียนั้นได้ ถูกดัดแปลงเพื่อที่ให้มีการทำให้อ่อนแรงลงของการแสดงออกของยีน bolA
2. แบคทีเรียตามข้อถือสิทธิข้อ 1 โดยที่การแสดงออกของยีน bolA ถูกทำให้อ่อนแรงลงโดย การทำให้ไม่มีการทำหน้าที่ของยีน bolA
3. แบคทีเรียตามข้อถือสิทธิข้อ 1 โดยที่แบคทีเรียที่กล่าวถึงเป็นของสกุล Escherichia
