The invention also provides pharmaceutical mixtures comprising such salts or substances prepared from such salts; processes and intermediates for preparing such salts; and methods of using such salts in the treatment of pulmonary diseases. This invention provides a crystalline salt of 1, 2-ethanedisulfonic acid of Biphenyl-2-ylcarbamic acid 1-[2-(2-chloro-4-{[(R)-2-hydroxy-2-(8-hydroxy-2-oxo-1,2-dihydroquinolin-5-yl)ethylamino]methyl}-5-methoxyphenylcarbamoyl)ethyl]piperidin-4-yl ester or solvate thereof. The invention also provides pharmaceutical mixtures comprising said salts or substances prepared from said salts; processes and intermediates for preparing said salts and methods of using said salts in the treatment of pulmonary diseases.
