The process for encapsulating rapidly leached agricultural chemicals into microcapsules consists of the following steps: a) adding free polymers of urea-, thiourea-, or melamine formaldehyde, or a mixture of these, to the suspended agricultural chemical in liquid; the prepolymer or mixture then emulsifies with the liquid; and b) maturating the prepolymer to form a cross-linked polymer that encapsulates the agricultural chemical.
