DC60 (11/08/53) ไมโครพาร์ติเคิลนิโคติน-เคลย์ (Nicotine-clay microparticles) มีลักษณะเป็นอนุภาคขนาด ไมโครพาร์ติเคิล(microparticles) ที่มีองค์ประกอบของนิโคติน (nicotine) และเคลย์ (clay) ที่เกิดจาก อันตรกิริยาระดับโมเลกุล ทำให้เกิดการรวมกลุ่มของเคลย์ที่มีขนาดอนุภาคระดับไมโคร ซึ่งคุณสมบัติ ดังกล่าวทำให้สามารถปลดปล่อยนิโคติน (nicotine) และนำส่งนิโคติน (nicotine) ผ่านเยื่อเมือก รวมถึงสามารถยึดติดเยื่อเมือกได้ โดยความมุ่งหมายของการประดิษฐ์นี้ คือ เพื่อให้ได้ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เป็น ระบบนำส่งนิโคติน (nicotine) ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติยึดติดเยื่อเมือกและนำส่งนิโคตินดังกล่าวเข้าสู่กระแส เลือด รวมไปถึงสามารถควบคุมการปลดปล่อยนิโคตินได้ ไมโครพาร์ติเคิลนิโคติน-เคลย์ (Nicotine-clay microparticles) มีลักษณะเป็นอนุภาคขนาดไมโครพาร์ติเคิล(microparticles)ที่มีองค์ประกอบของนิโคติน (Nicotine)และเคลย์ (clay)ที่เกิดจากอันตรกิริยาระดับโมเลกุล ทำให้เกิดการรวมกลุ่มของเคลย์ที่มีขนาดอนุภาคระดับไมโคร ซึ่งคุณสมบัติดังกล่าวทำให้สามารถปลดปล่อยนิโคติน (Nicotine) และนำส่ง นิโคติน (Nicotine)ผ่านเยื่อเมือกรวมถึงสามารถยึดติดเยื่อเมือกได้ โดยความมุ่งหมายของการประดิษฐ์นี้ คือ เพื่อให้ได้ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เป็นระบบนำส่งนิโคติน (Nicotine) ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติยึดติดเยื่อเมือกและนำส่งนิโคตินดังกล่าวเข้าสู่กระแสเลือด รวมไปถึงสามารถควบคุมการปลดปล่อยนิโคตินได้
