Bu bulus, akrilonitril ve metakrilonitrili kapsayan gruptan seçilen bir doymamis mononitrilin imal edilmesi için bir isleme iliskindir. Bulusun bir amaci, akrilonitrilin imalati esnasinda elde edilen sulu devri daim akrilonitril islem akimlari içindeki az miktarda oksitleyici yabanci maddelerin indirgenmesidir. Bu indirgeme, söndürme sütununa giren sulu devri daim islem akimindan gelen az miktarda oksitleyiciler ve/veya yabanci maddelerin indirgenmesiyle saglanmaktadir.
