Mevcut bulus özellikle kagit makinalari için kuru elek olarak kullanilan bir drenaj bandi (1,13,17,25,30) ile ilgili olup, sözkonusu band çok sayida küçük levha seklinde yassi gövdeden (2,14,18,24,26,27,31,32,40) meydana gelmekte, bu gövdeler geçirgenligin ayarlanmasi için geçis deliklerine (41) sahip olmakta ve/veya gövdeler arasinda aralik (19,36) birakilmakta, ve ayrica yassi gövdeler (2,14,18,24,26, 27,31,32,40) egilebilir baglanti halatlari (9,16,22,23,28,37) üzerinden, ki bu halatlar yassi gövdelerin (2, 14, 18, 24, 26, 27, 31, 32, 40) içinden geçmektedir, birbiri altina öyle baglanmistir ki, çalisma durumunda drenaj bandi (1,13,17,25,30) üzerinde etkili olan uzunlamasina güçler bunlar üzerinde de etkili olmaktadir.
