Abstract

Gerekli uygulamalarda tatmin edici ses zayiflatma özelliklerine sahip olan, mekanik mukavemete sahip olan, ekonomik olarak üretilebilen, ve hidrolitik olarak dengeli olan termoplastik köpükler. Bu köpüklerin hazirlanmasi için yöntemler de saglanmaktadir. Köpükler ses kontrolünde, ses yalitiminda, filtrelemede, ve sivi emmede yararlidir ve asagidaki özelliklerden bir veya daha fazlasina sahiptir: 1) yaklasik 2 mm'den daha büyük ortalama hücre boyutu; 2) büyük ölçüde açik-hücre yapisi ve 3) hücreleri baglayan nispeten büyük gözenek. Köpügün akustik olarak aktif olmasi için, köpük büyük ölçüde açik-hücreli bir yapiya ve nispeten düsük bir hava-akimi direncine sahip olmasi gereklidir. Büyük ölçüde açik-hücre yapili ve nispeten düsük hava-akimi dirençli köpükler yaklasik 2 mm'den daha büyük ortalama hücre boyutuna sahip bir köpügün mekanik olarak açilmasi ile hazirlanir.
