Potansiyel ilaç adaylari gibi analitlerin süratle taranmasi için bir yöntem; yöntem taranacak çok sayida analiti, birbirlerinden ayri kalacak sekilde bir veya birden fazla kati destek üzerinde uygulamak; sözü geçen analit-tasiyan kati destegi (destekleri) yari-kati veya sivi bir ortama içinde temin edilen hedeflele temas ettirmek; sözü geçen analitler kati destekten (desteklerden) hedeflere birakilir; ve analit-hedef etkilesimlerini ölçmek.
