Abstract
Gerekli standartlara termal sekilde tavlanmis pencere camlari, yüksek bir termal genlesme katsayisina (derece Santigrad basina 93x10-7den büyük) ve düsük bir kirilma pekligi (0.72 MPam1/2 den düsük) sahip olan panellerin tavlanmasiyla üretilmektedir. Bulusa göre seçilen camlarin kullanilmasi, ince pencere camlarinin (özellikle 3mm kalinliktan daha düsük pencere camlarinin) geleneksel tavlama yöntemleri kullanilarak gelistirilmis verimler ile otomotiv standardina tavlanmasini ve daha kalin pencere camlarinin simdiye kadar gerekenden daha düsük söndürme basincinda tavlanmasini mümkün kilmaktadir. Müsait camlar arasinda, agirlikla yüzde cinsinden, %64-75 SiO2, %0-5 Al2O3, %0-5 B2O3, %9-16 MgO'dan baska alkalin toprak metali oksiti, %0-2 MgO, %15-18 alkali metali oksit ve (Fe2O3 seklinde hesaplanan) en azindan %0.05 toplam demiri içeren camlar bulunmaktadir.
