Abstract

Bulus dijital abone hatti (DSL) teknolojisi kullanarak tek kanalli bir iletisim baglantisi (24) üzerinden çok kanalli televizyon içeriginin saglanmasi için bir sistem ve yönteme iliskindir. Müsteriden gelen canli veya depolanmis video talebini almak üzere bir video biriktirici (60) vardir. Merkez büro (20), video biriktirici (60) ile iletisim halindedir ve canli program talep edilmesi halinde video biriktiriciden program talebini almak ve istenen canli programi video biriktiriciye iletmek üzere yapilandirilmistir. Müsterinin canli program izlemedigi dönemlerde, video biriktirici (60) istenen programlari gelecekte izlenmek üzere merkez bürodan (20) talep eder ve depolar. Video biriktirici, müsterinin depolanan programlari ileri bir tarihte izlemesine de imkan verir.
