Abstract

Bu buluş, Internet protokolü (IP) kullanarak herhangi bir servis sağlayıcıdan medya iletimi sağlayan, son kullanıcıya ait medya geçidi cihazlarının bu iletişim için gerekli ayarları otomatik olarak yapabilmelerini ve ayarları periyodik olarak güncelleyebilmelerini sağlayan bir gömülü sistem ve bu sistem ile birlikte çalışan bilgisayar sistemi yazılımları ile ilgilidir. Bu buluşla geliştirilen oto-provizyon sistemi, ana elemanlar olarak son kullanıcının medya cihazlarına medya aktaran bir medya geçidi, medya geçidinde çalışan gömülü yazılımlar, servis sağlayıcının ağında yer alan bir provizyon sunucusu, medya geçidinin bu provizyon sunucusu ile özel bir iletişim protokolü kullanarak işlevini yerine getirebilmesi için gerekli ayarları bu sunucudan indirebilmesi ya da provizyon sunucusunun ayarları medya geçidine göndermesi ile karakterize edilmektedir.
