Abstract

Bu buluş, kovanlara etkin miktarda uygulanan yavaş salimli formülasyonlu esans yağları ile arı kovanlarında görülen çeşitli hastalıkları kontrol altına alacak bir yöntemle ilgilidir. Bu esans yağları, bitki veya mentol, geraniol, thymol, myrcene, sitral, limonene, karene, kamfor, öjenol, veya sineol (ökaliptol) gibi bitkilerin etkin bileşenlerini veya limon yağı, okaliptüs yağı ve neem yağları gibi doğal yağlan ya da formik asit, asetik asit veya oksalik asit gibi organik asitleri kapsamaktadır. En çok tercih edilen yağlar thymol veya mentol gibi monoterpenlerdir. Thymol en çok tercih edilen monoterpen türüdür.
