Abstract
Bir oftalmik çok odaklı lens ve bunu üretmeye yönelik bir yöntem yakın, orta ve uzak görüş için odak noktaları içermektedir. Lens bir refraktif odak noktası (164) sağlayan bir ışık ileten lens gövdesi ve lens gövdesinin bir yüzeyinin bir kısmı üzerinden eş merkezli şekilde uzanan ve bir dizi difraktif odak noktası (162, 163) sağlayan bir periyodik ışık ileten kırınım ağı içermektedir. Kırınım ağı, refraktif odak noktası orta görüş içi odak noktasını sağlayacak ve difraktif odak noktaları yakın ve uzak görüş için odak noktalarını içerecek şekilde bir optik dalga bölücü olarak tasarlanmaktadır. Kırınım ağı; lens gövdesinin optik eksenine radyal mesafenin (r) bir fonksiyonu (165) olarak modüle edilen bir argümana sahip olan bir sürekli periyodik faz profili fonksiyonu içeren ve böylelikle odak noktalarındaki (162, 163, 164) ışık dağılımını ayarlayan bir optik transfer fonksiyonuna (160) sahiptir.
