Abstract

Buluş en az bir bitkisel veya hayvansal yağ ve en az bir alifatik monoalkol arasında bir dizi transesterleşme reaksiyonu kullanan, yağ asidi alkilik esterleri ve gliserol üretimine yönelik bir yöntem ile ilgili olup, yöntem aşağıdaki aşamaları içermektedir: (A) bir başlangıç karışımının oluşturulması için, en az bir bitkisel ve/veya hayvansal yağ, en az bir alifatik monoalkol ve en az bir heterojen ve/veya homojen katalizörün ayrı olarak veya karışım halinde bir mikro bilyalı üç boyutlu öğütücü içine sokulması; (B) söz konusu başlangıç karışımının 50°C'ye eşit veya daha düşük olan, tercihen 25°C'ye eşit veya daha düşük olan bir sıcaklıkta, 5 dakikaya eşit veya daha düşük olan, tercihen 5 ila 30 saniye arasında değişen ve tipik olarak 5 ila 15 saniye arasında değişen bir kalma süresi boyunca bir mikro bilyalı üç boyutlu öğütücü içinde öğütülmesi; (C) en az yağ asidi alkilik esterleri, gliserol, katalizör ve reaksiyona girmeyen alifatik monoalkol içeren bir nihai karışımın üç boyutlu öğütücünün çıkışında geri kazanılması; ve (D) bu nihai karışımın, yağ asidi alkilik esterleri içeren bir birinci faza ve gliserol, reaksiyona girmeyen alifatik monoalkol ve katalizör içeren bir ikinci faza ayrılması.
