Çelik ürünlerinin yeniden ısıtılması için fırın olup, yanal brülörler ile donatılmış boylamasına cidarları ve ürünler için bir giriş ve bir çıkış ile donatılmış uç enlemesine cidarları içerir; fırın, girişte bir geri kazanma bölgesini (R), bunun hemen ardından, ürünlerin ilerleme yönünde bir ön ısıtma bölgesini, ardından ardışık ısıtma bölgelerini içerir; fırının hemen girişinde bir duman boşaltma kanalı (5) sağlanmıştır ve bu şekilde ters yönde sirküle ederek boşalan dumanlar, geri kazanma bölgesini kat eder; fırın, ön ısıtma bölgesinde alev modülasyonlu yanal brülörler ile donatılmıştır böylece üründe istenen özellikle eğimli herhangi bir sıcaklık profilini geri kazanma bölgesinden (R) itibaren oluşturmak amacıyla geri kazanma bölgesinde tercih edilen bir duman akışı (4) üretilir.
