TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR DESCRIPTION HYBRID MODE HIGH VOLTAGE GENERATOR SUBJECT OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to high voltage generators. STATE OF THE ART High voltage generators are used in many areas such as insulation testers, laser driver devices, flash lamps, electromagnetic cannons, dust and smoke filters, PEF (Pulsed Electrical Field) devices, and electric fences. In general, high voltage generators can be examined in two groups according to their output signals; pulsed and continuous electricity generators. Pulsed electricity generators can be further divided into two subgroups: those using the capacitive discharge method and those using the inductive discharge method. Due to the higher energy capacity required in many applications, the capacitive discharge method is used. One of the most common areas of use of high voltage generators is electric fences. Electric fences are used in applications such as military and civilian perimeter security and domestic and wildlife control. Electric fence generators generate electrical signals according to specific rules (EP1667497A2). In capacitive or inductive discharge methods, pulsed generators deliver electrical pulses to wires of very short duration (<10 ms) and long time intervals (lsec). The advantage of pulsed generators is that they deliver very high-energy electricity to wires, even for short periods, so the wires do not have to have high impedance. For example, many effects that cause electrical leakage, such as rain, moisture, conductive dirt, and grass, remain in the wires. System maintenance and operating costs are much higher than with continuous-type generators. Voltage multiplier circuits are generally used in continuous-type generators. Voltage surge circuits deliver high-voltage, low-current electricity to fences. The advantage of continuous generators is that the wires are constantly energized. Therefore, when animals touch the wires, they are deterred by the electric shock rather than a delay. This can be especially effective for fast animals that move collectively and in panic, with a herd mentality. In fences where continuous generators are used, there is constant electricity on the wires as long as there is no contact. In case of contact with a live animal, the electricity in the wires must be completely transferred to the living creature, and the contact must be broken to recharge the wires to high voltage. Another disadvantage of the continuous power delivery method is that, because low current can be applied to the wires, high impedance must be maintained in the wires. Corrosion, which has very low conductivity, can occur in the wires due to rain, dirt, grass, etc. Objects reduce the high impedance in the wire. In fact, even a very small charge in the kilo-ohm range on the wires to which the device is connected can disable the system. This makes using an electric fence system in exposed areas, wet areas, and weather conditions very difficult or even impossible. In areas where continuous-type generators are used, the high impedance required between the wires can only be achieved with great care and effort during initial installation. After a while, electrical leaks occur through surface leakage paths on the insulators due to grass, corrosion, rain, moisture, and dirt coming into contact with the wires, and the device's power output decreases or disappears altogether. Some devices have additional circuits that monitor the output, and circuits that signal the absence of electricity due to undesirable loads on the output may exist. However, the user must be aware of this situation and must intervene by locating the leakage in the wires. Otherwise, the field will remain unprotected until intervention is initiated. This invention proposes a method that combines the advantages of pulsed and continuous-type generators. Thanks to the proposed circuit, if a high impedance is provided between the wires connected to the device's output, the wires are continuously energized. If the high impedance is broken for any reason, high-energy electrical pulses are delivered to the wires, maintaining the electrical deterrent in the wires. In addition, by controlling the output sensor unit, the energy consumption of the generator is significantly reduced in case of high impedance in the wires. This way, the efficiency is increased. E. CIRCUIT OPERATION Figure 1: Schematic representation of the circuit proposed in this invention Figure 2: By paralleling the proposed circuit, multiple [RE] pulse generators can be obtained from a single pulse generator Figure 3: For the operation of the proposed circuit in hybrid or pulse-only mode, the units in the figures are numbered and the corresponding units are shown. 101: Pulse generator 102: Rectifier 103: High voltage capacitor (HV capacitor) 106: Detection layer unit 107: (Circuit) output 108: Power supply 109: (Recommended) circuit 1 10: Switch In the proposed circuit, in addition to the pulse generator (101), it also consists of a rectifier (102), current sensors (104, 105), and a high voltage (HV) capacitor (103). The high voltage signal at the output of the pulse generator (101) is shaped by the rectifier (102) and transferred to the current capacitor (104), HV capacitor (103), and to the circuit output (107) via other current sensors (105). Depending on the energy of the signal at the output of the pulse generator (101) and the voltage value of the HV capacitor (103), the HV capacitor (103) is charged to high voltage. Depending on the load conditions that may occur at the circuit output (107), the operation of the proposed circuit can be examined in E14 different cases. 1-) If there is no load on the output (107), after the high-voltage capacitor (103) is fully charged, the energy transfer from the pulse generator (101) to the high-voltage capacitor (103) almost completely stops, and no energy is drawn from the pulse generator (101). After this point, there is no need for the pulse generator (101) to operate in vain. Alternatively, if the pulse generator (101) has a recycling feature, it can recover the energy not transferred to the high-voltage capacitor (103). (2) If a high-impedance load is present at the output stage (107), some of the energy in the storage capacitor (103) is drawn from the triple pulse generator (101) via the current limiter (105), depending on the load's condition. Various methods can be applied to reduce energy consumption. The pulse generator (101) can recycle the portion of the energy in its outputs that is not transferred to the load and the high-voltage capacitor (103). Alternatively, depending on the energy level in the high-voltage capacitor (103), energy consumption can be reduced by increasing the repetition time between pulses. Another method is to reduce energy consumption by reducing the energy of each pulse at the output of the pulse generator (101). Many methods have been proposed to reduce pulse energy. One of the most common methods can be used, such as adjusting the output pulse energy by changing the charging voltage of the storage capacitor in the pulse generator (101). (3) If the first capacitor (107) has a low impedance load contact and the contact is finished, the HV capacitor (103) will be charged by the pulse generator (101) as in the beginning, since all of the energy in the storage capacitor (103) will be transferred to the load. (4) If a low impedance load is in contact with the fence (107) and continues to do so, all of the energy in the storage capacitor (103) will be transferred to the sapling, and the storage capacitor will be discharged. In the following period after the discharge, a portion of the energy from the pulse generator (101) will be transferred to the HV capacitor (103) for charging, while the other portion will be transferred to the load in contact, thus maintaining protection on the fence wires. In this scenario, the pulse generator (101) can be thought of as directly connected to the fence. With one difference, due to the HV capacitor (103), it can be modeled as if there is a capacitive load connected in parallel with the load on the fence wires. This feature is the most important difference of the proposed circuit from the previous proposed continuous type generators. Previous continuous-type generators used voltage-charging circuits to charge the capacitor at the output. Because these circuits charge the capacitor with very low currents, a high impedance at the output was essential. If a high impedance at the output was not provided, previous continuous-type generators would not function, and the field protection would fail. Some circuits may include alarm circuits to notify the user of the field protection failure. However, the user should still be aware of this warning and ensure high impedance by isolating the load on the fence wires. In our proposed circuit, in such a scenario, the protection would continue in pulse mode, thus maintaining the deterrent effect on the wires. If the user removes the load from the fence wires, the proposed circuit switches to continuous mode, providing continuous electricity to the wires, and deterrence continues to increase. Because the proposed circuit can operate in both pulse and continuous mode, it can operate in hybrid mode. According to standards, the maximum duration of a high-voltage pulse is 10ms, and the maximum pulse energy for a 500-ohm load is 5 Joules. The output energy of the proposed circuit is the sum of the energy of the pulse generator (101) and the energy stored in the high-voltage capacitor (103). To comply with the standards, the first method should be configured so that the energy stored in the capacitor of the pulse generator (101) and the total energy in the high-voltage capacitor (103) are 5J. Numerous options are available in this manner. For example, the output power of the pulse generator circuit should be 2.5 J, and the energy in the output high voltage capacitor (103) should be 2.5 J so that in the worst case, the total energy does not exceed 5 Joules. Alternatively, the storage capacitor can be set to 1 J and the high voltage capacitor (103) to 4 J. In this case, a generator with five times the power output can be obtained with a low-power pulse generator (101). Another sub-limit should be taken into consideration when selecting the ratios here. In case of low impedance in the fence wires, at most 1 J of pulse energy can be transferred to the load on the fence wires. However, if a high impedance is provided and 4 J is stored in the high voltage capacitor (103), 5 J of energy can be transferred to the fence output. Thus, 1.! The pulse generator (101) with an output power of approximately 1J would provide deterrence equivalent to SJ energy by consuming approximately 1J of energy. The low output energy of the proposed circuit for continuously contacting loads, especially during the second pulse and beyond, can be seen as a security advantage offered by the invention. In the fourth case, when a low-impedance load is in contact with output (107) and continues to do so, approximately 1] pulses are applied to the load connected to output (107), and deterrence continues at the level of 1] . Although this reduced deterrence is initially perceived as an undesirable feature, it is a desirable feature for continuous live contact. Because the energy applied to the fence can be reduced in case a person is trapped or temporarily unconscious, the chance of the person escaping is increased. After the first impact, a safer energy level of 1J is transferred to the person, not 5J, to increase safety. In practice, the high-voltage capacitor (103) may lose its energy level over time due to leaks. When it falls to a predetermined level, for example, 3J, the sensing unit (106) activates the pulse generator (101) and charges the high-voltage capacitor (103) back to 5J after two pulses. The pulse generator (101) is then stopped and placed in standby mode, significantly reducing the amount of energy consumed due to standby. Thanks to this feature, the operating time of devices powered by limited sources such as batteries is significantly increased. The function of the rectifier (102) in the proposed circuit is to rectify the high voltage pulse signal coming from the pulse generator (101) and store it in the HV capacitor (103) and prevent it from flowing back to the pulse generator (101) from the HV capacitor (103). The circuit element that can be most commonly used as the rectifier (102) is the diode. The diode must provide the reverse breakdown voltage and current values in the circuit. A semiconductor switch, diode, zener diode, transistor, etc., rectifier circuit element Eda with sufficient electrical parameters can be used as the rectifier (102). In this method, energy is supplied to the load in the output (107) from two separate units; pulse generator (101) and HV capacitor (103). The most unfavorable situation in meeting the criteria related to the amount of energy transfer that can be given as per the standards is; the energy in the HV capacitor (103) is transferred to the load. The pulse generator (101) must generate a pulse again within the next second and transfer it to the load. To prevent this, the pulse generation must be stopped for one second after the HV capacitor (103) is discharged. This timing is achieved by the sensing unit (106) connected to the HV capacitor (103). The sensing unit (106) continuously measures the voltage of the HV capacitor (103) and stops pulse generation for one second in case it is discharged. The pulse generators operate by discharging the storage capacitor to the load through the transformer. Because the fence wires are connected to the secondary windings of the transformer, the fence wire impedance can be modeled as being related to the secondary winding impedance. The secondary winding impedance has a low resistance value, and the fence wires can be considered connected to ground through a low resistance value. Therefore, post-impulse energy storage in the fence wires is not possible with pulse generators. However, the proposed circuit, connected to the output of a standard pulse generator, can provide continuous power to the fence wires. The operating mode of the circuit can be changed using a high-voltage relay or switch (110). For example, if the sensing unit 106 detects a low-impedance load on the fence wires from the voltage level on the high-voltage capacitor 103, it can disable the high-voltage capacitor 103 using switch 110, allowing the circuit to operate entirely in pulse mode. In this case, since there is no high-voltage capacitor 103 in parallel with the load on the fence wires, all the energy from the pulse generator 101 can be transferred to the load. Switching the pulse mode can be done automatically with the sensing unit 106 or manually using a mechanical switch. According to standards, the current Ehm on a 500 R load for current-generating generators must not exceed 20 amperes. In pulse generators, the energy stored in the capacitor, EgD, is the storage capacitor's seGas and voltage Ea. When SEga and voltage D are combined, the output energy and the battery are simulated. In continuous-type generators, the output energy is limited by the seGas D and voltage E of the series-connected capacitors in the voltage multiplier circuit. However, in standard continuous-type generators, maximum current limitation is not made. To ensure current limitation in pulse generators, a series resistance or coil is added to the storage capacitors connected to the primary terminals of the transformers. In this way, the current in the secondary-connected load is limited. In the circuit proposed here, the high-voltage capacitor (103) is directly connected to the fence wires, and the load touching the fence is connected to the wires. If this situation is modeled with an RC circuit, the maximum current flowing through the load (R) is calculated using the formula 1 = Vcap/Rload. If a 500R standard load touches a 10kV charged high-voltage capacitor (103), a maximum current of 20A will initially flow. Since the capacitive components of the load may exceed 20A, limiting the current may be necessary. The current limiters (104, 105) may consist of different circuit elements for current limiting. Non-linear elements such as PTCs or electronic circuits can be used for current limiting. However, since operating electronic circuits under high voltage is costly and risky, simpler and more basic circuit elements can be preferred. The most common are coils or resistors. In cases where the fence wires contain large, low-impedance loads, the values of the current-sinking elements (104, 105) can be determined based on the energy allocation strategy to be transferred to the fence and the high-voltage capacitor (103) in pulsed mode. In some applications, it is desirable to divide the area to be energized by electric fences into zones. The key point here is to prevent a low impedance or short circuit problem in any one region from affecting other regions. The proposed circuit, as shown in Figure 3, allows multiple regions to operate relatively independently of each other by multiplying the outputs (107) of a single pulse generator (101) in parallel. Each output (107) operates without being fully connected to the others. For example, a short circuit condition in one does not completely interrupt the output (107), even if the voltage drops slightly in the other output (107). Depending on the voltage drop across the voltage drops (107) and the low-impedance load touching the output (104, 105), the applied values will be taken into account. The proposed circuit, as explained in detail above, offers the following advantages: It can operate in both pulsed and continuous modes, providing hybrid operation. The advantages of operating in both modes are combined, thus increasing protection because the wires are always live. - Unlike previous voltage multiplier circuits, the current and field protection continue even when the wires are loaded. Costs can be reduced by connecting the pulse generators currently in use to the outputs. The energy capacity provided by pulse generators to wires can be increased many times, and much higher deterrence can be achieved with a small device. [Additional E.] When the wires are provided with high impedance, the recommended circuit operates in continuous mode, significantly reducing energy consumption. After the high energy transfer found in secure fence devices, the output energy reduction feature is directly provided in the devices. Thanks to parallel outputs, multiple connected outputs can be generated with a single pulse generator. Parallel internal EISJs can be monitored by the created detection circuits, and a special audible, E011, or signal alarm can be generated. In this way, a low impedance that may occur in one of the outputs can be detected more easily and, if necessary, can be deactivated with the help of switch (110) to prevent any negative effects on the entire output. In this way, the use of the pulse generator can be facilitated by dividing the connection ins E into separate parts for larger systems. TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR TR
