Abstract
Buluş insan kalbindeki kusurların, özellikle doğumsal kalp kusurlarına ikincil artmış pulmoner kan akımına sahip ve pulmoner hipertansiyon riski taşıyan her yaş grubundaki hastalarda pulmoner hipertansiyon gelişmeden, tedavide palyasyon ve/veya tedavi etmek, sol ventrikülü involüsyona uğramış büyük arterlerin transpozisyonu bulunan hastalarda ise atriyal "switch" sonrası sağ ventrikül yetersizliği gelişmesi durumunda, sol ventrikülün sistemik dolaşıma hazırlanması amacı ile kullanılan tıbbı cihaz'ın (5) ana pulmoner artere (4) ekimi sonrası, olası tromboemboli riskinin kontrolü sağlamak üzere, tıbbi cihazın (5) kalbe yakın proksimal ucu (5.1) ile distal ucun (5.2) birleşim seviyesinde ve kaflı (cuffed) distal uç (5.2) üzerinde yerleşik en az üç adet oluşturulan açıklık (6) ile ilgilidir.
