Abstract

Kurşun asitli aküler için cam elyaf matlar açıklanmaktadır. Cam elyaf matlar, bir bağlayıcıyla bir arada tutulan çok sayıda cam elyaf içerebilir. Bağlayıcı, (i) aside dirençli bir polimer, ve (ii) hidrofilik madde içeren bir bağlayıcı bileşiminden yapılabilir. Hidrofilik madde, cam elyaf matın, su veya sulu sülfürik asit solüsyonuyla 70° veya daha küçük bir temas açısı oluşturacağı şekilde, cam elyaf matın ıslanabilirliğini arttırır.
