Abstract
Buluş çerçevesinde, bir motor veya kompresör için, iki uç yüzeyli (31 a, 31b) bir uzunlamasına krank bölmesine (31) sahip olan bir muhafaza (3, 5) geliştirilmiştir. Ayrıca, içerisinde bir pistonun, krank milinin bir dönmesi vasıtasıyla hareket etmeye teşvik edildiği en az bir silindir bölmesi (32a, 32b) öngörülmüştür. Krank bölmesinin iç çapı, birinci uç yüzeyden ikinci uç yüzeye doğru tekdüze bir şekilde incelir. Bu şekilde şekillendirilmiş bir krank bölmesi, bir kalıp mandrelin (34) dökülmesi vasıtasıyla özellikle kolay bir şekilde hazırlanabilir. Bu gibi bir kalıp mandrel, dökme sonrasında birinci ucundan muhafazanın dışına çekilebilmesi için aynı şekilde tekdüze incelmelidir. Düz bir silindir şeklindeki krank bölmeleri bu kolay yöntem ile hazırlanamaz. Krank bölmesinin buluşa uygun biçimlendirilmesi vasıtasıyla muhafaza, tek parçalı olarak ve aynı zamanda çok kompakt bir şekilde kurulabilir.
