Abstract

If the light receiving part 21 is provided with an optical system to narrow down received light beams, only information from a particular electric appliance 1 can be received without being affected by light from other electric appliances. In addition, if the receiver 2 side is provided with a light emitting part and the electric appliance 1 side is provided with a light receiving part, even two-way communication can be performed.
