Abstract

A thermal printer has a thermal print head alignment mechanism wherein the thermal printer includes a main body, a platen roller positioned in the main body for pressing a media to a imaging material for being printed thereon, a thermal printer head positioned in the main body for performing a printing operation on the imaging material, a guide positioned on a side of the platen roller for providing a track, a lever positioned on a side of the platen roller for moving the platen roller along the track provided by the guide, and a DC motor for driving the lever to push the platen roller.
