Abstract

This device for positioning the sheets (1) comprises a feed table (T) owning means for driving the sheets, at least one front positioning stop (2) for stopping the leading edges of the sheets, register means for the lateral position of the sheets (1), means for comparing said position to a reference position, transverse drive means (7) of the sheets (1) and control means (6) for applying said drive means (7). The transverse drive means comprise a transverse slide (13) arranged between said stop (2) and said feed table (T), drive means (7) for said transverse slide (13) connected to said control means (6) and means (27a, 27b) for jointly attaching the sheet (1) to the transverse slide (13).
