Abstract

There is provided a hanging-type earphone which achieves a simple configuration and allows an ear hanger to be hung and supported on the base of a pinna with a variable position. The hanging-type earphone comprises a housing 11 having an electroacoustic transducer unit, an ear hanger 21 formed so as to be placed along the base of a pinna, and an arm 41 connected between the housing 11 and the base end 22 of the ear hanger 21. The arm 41 has an end 42 rotationally connected to the housing 11 and the other end 45 rotationally connected to the base end 22 of the ear hanger 21. After the position of the ear hanger 21 is freely changed, an ear cuff 26 is stably supported on the base of the pinna.
