Abstract

An apparatus that analyzes heart rate variability instantly, through the integration of micro-electrical signal detection and signal processing technology, designed to be integrated with electrocardiogram device. The apparatus reads electrocardiogram signals using "sensor" electrode or external auxiliary electrode. The analog signals are amplified, filtered and then switches to digital format. The digital signals are delivered to internal central processing unit for time domain/frequency domain analysis of heart rate variability. The analyzed results are displayed on liquid crystal display. This design allows a single device capable reading signals, perform calculations, and display results. It not only simplifies current apparatus available but also by providing heart rate variability allows users to better assesses and understand health situation in advance.
