Abstract

This invention relates an improved transmission mechanism for fabric guide pulley unit of a sewing machine. The machine bed is provided therein with a lower shaft and a lateral shaft linked to and swinging with the lower shaft. Swinging of the lateral shaft is the basis for moving the fabric guide base. The lateral shaft in the machine bed is further pivoted and linked upwards to a secondary shaft in the machine bed to cause synchronous swinging of the secondary shaft. The secondary shaft is connected to the fabric guide pulley unit provided to a rear end of the machine bed via a link rod. As such, rollers of the fabric guide pulley unit can be adjusted along with the large and small needles of the fabric guide base, so as to eliminate the defects of adjusting individual components and to improve the convenience in operation and applications.
