Abstract

The composition of a composite fiber material and its fabrication method is disclosed. A layer of foamed silicone rubber with thermal protective capability and a layer of light-reflect silicone rubber coating that can increase its thermal radiation resistance are applied individually on the fiber material. Firstly, silicone rubber is applied on the fiber matrix with a calander machine and foamed in situ. It is cured with steam in autoclave. The composite material is then coated with a layer of silicone reflective layer and cure in an oven. A fiber composite material with good softness under low temperature is therefore produced.
