Abstract

The present invention provides a method for coloring and polymerization in a foaming mold, which mainly comprises using a mold consisting of an upper mold, a middle mold and a lower mold, which is capable of forming an article by receiving injection of a molten material; mounting a transfer film on the lower mold; positioning the transfer film by using the middle mold to press on the periphery of the transfer film; evacuating the mold into a vacuum state so that the transfer film fully contacts the cavity in the lower mold; closing the mold; injecting a molten material into the mold, in which the transfer film is directly transfer-printed by the high temperature of the molten material and the fact that the transfer film is made of a thermoplastic material having a similar property as the molten material; and completing the transfer printing process after formation of the molten material. Thus, the invented has the advantages of completing forming and transfer printing in one operation without the need of additionally heating the transfer film, as well as applicable on forming an article having a curved surface and a large surface area.
