Abstract

To provide a polarizing film carrier capable of holding/carrying a polarizing film to respective work positions while maintaining its flatness when testing the polarizing film which is applied to an LCD. The polarizing film carrier comprises a first grip section (110) which is disposed and fixed on one side of a base frame (1), a second grip section (120) which is disposed on the other side of the base frame, a third grip section (130) which is disposed on the front end of the base frame, and a fourth grip section (140) which is disposed the rear end of the base frame. A first width adjusting section (150), which moves the second grip section back and forth relative to the first grip section in order for alignments corresponding to the size of the polarizing film (7), is disposed on the second grip section. A second width adjusting section (160), which moves the third and fourth grip sections back and forth in respective opposite directions, is disposed on one side of the third and fourth grip sections. A first tension adjusting section (121) and a second tension adjusting section (133), which adjust the flatness of the polarizing film when holding the polarizing film, are disposed on the second grip section and the third grip section respectively.
