Abstract

A sealing structure for an opening of a container comprises a press member, a support member, and an elastic member. The press member has a plug portion, and at least one positioning portion. The support member has an upper support flange, an axial tube, a lower support flange, and at least one locking portion. The elastic member is mounted on the axial tube, and supported between the upper support flange and the lower support flange. In sealing operation, The plug portion of the press member is adapted to downwardly press the elastic member along an axial direction so that the elastic member is compressed in the axial direction and thus outwardly expanded in a radial direction for sealing the opening of the container. Furthermore, the positioning portion of the press member is adapted to engage with the locking portion of the support member for maintaining the sealing effect of the elastic member.
