Abstract

A method for improving skin hydration includes applying a composition to an area of skin, wherein the composition includes: vitamin C in an amount from about 1% to 45% w/w; vitamin B complex in an amount from about 1% to 5% w/w; carotene in an amount from about 0.1% to 3% w/w; and vitamin E in an amount from about 2% to 90% w/w. The pharmaceutical composition is for topical application and is useful in skin-care and for the treatment of acne, comedo and zit. The composition also has an antioxidant property.
