Abstract

This invention provided a portable storage device. The portable storage device has a connecting interface electrically connected to a mainframe. The connecting interface is connected to a micro controller and a memory. The memory is divided into an invisible sector, the first application program sector, a public data sector, and a confidential data sector. There is a certification program saved in the first application program sector. When a user wants to access the data saved in the confidential data sector, the user must execute the certification program saved in the first application program sector first, and when the certification program is executed, the certification program will compare the user's identity inputted by the user with the user's identity saved in the invisible sector. If the comparison is matched, the portable storage device will turn the confidential data sector into an accessible sector that can be accessed by the user.
