Abstract

A fluid dynamic bearing includes a sleeve, a bearing disposed in the sleeve, a shaft rotatably received in the bearing, and lubricant filled in the sleeve. First and second lubricant storage spaces are formed at two ends of the bearing. The shaft at the first and second lubricant storage spaces forms first and second grooves. The first and second grooves are configured such that the lubricant in the first and second lubricant storage spaces is driven toward a middle portion of the bearing as the shaft rotates.
