Abstract

A control circuit and a controller for a light-emitting unit are proposed. The control circuit includes an energy-storing unit connected in series with the light-emitting unit; a discharging unit connected in parallel with the energy-storing unit and the light-emitting unit; a switch connected in series with the energy-storing unit and the light-emitting unit; and a current-sense unit connected in series with the switch. The current-sense unit generates a current-sense signal in response to the operation current of the light-emitting unit. In response to the current-sense signal, the controller is connected to the current-sense unit and the switch to generate a control signal for controlling the switch. Therefore, the brightness of the light-emitting unit can be properly regulated.
