Abstract
The present invention provides an apparatus for rapid prototyping using computer-printer aided to object realization to satisfy the demands of rapidity, reliability, safety and inexpensiveness in the market. The apparatus is utilized to process the virtual objects saved to the computer memory area with computer aided technique. The outline area of the first layer of the virtual object then is inkjet printed by transferring liquid to the porosity powder material through the inkjet printing of the printer or the plotter, so that the liquid can be bound together with the powder through natural solidification or other solidification improvement. Afterward, a new powder material is uniformly coated and the outline area of the second layer is inkjet printed again. The powder coating and the inkjet printing are repeated until the inkjet printing of the outline area of every layer of the virtual object is completed, thereby completely and rapidly achieving the method for manufacturing three-dimensional object. The inkjet printing includes the single color inkjet printing and the color inkjet printing.
