Abstract

A rear body of a rockable three-wheeled vehicle can be made in compact and small size by the effective arrangement and support of functional parts of the rear body in consideration of environment. A center of gravity of the rear body can be made lower. The length of an exhaust pipe can be secured. An output characteristic required for an engine can be easily acquired. The capacity of an air cleaner can be easily secured and improving intake system structure of the vehicle can reduce intake noise. In a three-wheeled vehicle, a rear body 18 coupled to the rear of a front body is attached so that the rear body can be laterally rocked in relation to the front body. The rear body 18 is covered with an integrated cover 53 and provided with an engine 76 that drives rear wheels 16, 16. An exhaust system 52 of the engine 76 is disposed inside the cover 53. A cylinder part 93 of the engine 76 is arranged in a forward inclined state inside the cover 53. A catalyst pipe 107 for purifying exhaust gas and a muffler 111 are provided to the exhaust system 52 and a fuel injection valve 91 for supplying fuel into the engine 76 and a throttle body 96 are arranged inside the cover 53. The catalyst pipe 107 is arranged on the upside of the engine 76 and the muffler 111 is arranged at the back of the engine 76 and on the downside of the catalyst pipe 107. An air cleaner 98 forming an intake system of the engine 76 is located between the right and left rear wheels 16 and at the back of a throttle body 96 for adjusting an intake air flow of a fuel supply system provided with a fuel injection valve 91.
