Abstract
A thin film semiconductor element comprising: an auxiliary electrode provided on a substrate; an insulating layer provided on the auxiliary electrode; a first electrode supported by the insulating layer; a barrier wall supported by the insulating layer; a semiconductor layer made of semiconductor material having carrier-transporting property, which is in contact with the first electrode; and a second electrode supported by the semiconductor layer and formed by vapor deposition. With this arrangement, a thin film semiconductor element having good carrier injection efficiency is provided.
